We are proud to announce that the Sheep Section is back for 2024. Through the dedicated hard work of the Section Secretary Sally we are able to constantly improve the size of the classes and prizes offered.
If you are wanting to enter an animal please see below rule and regulations along with the full schedule and entry form.

All classes are open to both accredited and non-accredited sheep, accredited must be accompanied by the green/white SAC form. This must be handed to the steward before unloading.
SAC APPROVED FACILITIES AVAILABLE FOR M/V ACCREDITED FLOCKS
Any animal found to be in an unfit condition for judging, must be removed to the isolation pen or owners trailer, on request. The judges/stewards decision is final.
– Each exhibit must have been owned by the breeder for a minimum of 60 days.
– Each breeder may only show a maximum of 2 exhibits per class.
– All exhibitors must have public liability insurance.
– Exhibitors must provide their own hay and straw, for the exhibits.
– All drivers are obliged to cooperate with the parking stewards
– All vehicles must clear the Showground by 9.00am to correct parking facilities.
– All livestock exhibits must remain on the showground until 5.00pm unless directed otherwise by the section secretary or security
An AML forms will be sent out with relevant passes following receipt of entry payment. Please send SAE with your entry form if entering by post.
